U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Selects a Titan Technologies Subsidiary to Support Crucial Data Collection Programs
TelaForce, LLC, a Titan Technologies company, deploys nearly 350 highly trained specialists to collect critical employment data for BLS
Titan Technologies successfully transitioned a team consisting of call center agents, data analysts, software developers, supervisors, and managers. The employees are in six U.S. locations: Georgia, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Missouri, and Washington D.C.
The agents from Titan Technologies support the three mission-critical BLS programs:
- For the Current Employment Statistics (CES) program, agents collect data on employment, hours, and earnings from a sample of nonfarm establishments.
- For the Job Opening and Labor Turnover (JOLTS) program, agents collect data on job openings, hires, and separations.
- For the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) program, agents collect employment data from large firms to support the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program.
Within six months of taking over the contract, the Titan team began re-architecting a legacy system with enhancements including rapid prototype modeling and new pluggable, interchangeable modules. The newly modernized system is projected to improve key success metrics including user interface speed, time, and quality.
“We’re pleased that BLS has chosen Titan Technologies to support its mission to effectively collect critical employment information throughout the U.S.,” said David Ramirez, Chief Operating Officer of Titan Technologies. “This contract adds to our record of providing innovative, transformative customer care solutions for organizations with diverse needs.”
